CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS POLICY
Cancellation by MII or a Branch
Every attempt is made to offer our programs as publicised. However, each Branch of MII organising its own courses, reserves the right to adjust program dates, location, times, faculty, etc. in order to accommodate unforeseen circumstances; said Branches will only notify advanced registrants of any program changes. MII is not responsible for any expenses incurred by registrants due to such adjustments.
Branches of MII further reserve the right to cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances up to two weeks prior to the start of the course. If the course is cancelled by The McKenzie Institute, a full refund will be given or funds can be transferred to another course. MII and its Branches are not responsible for any expenses incurred by registrants due to such cancellations.
Cancellation by a participant
Once a registration has been processed, cancellation notices must be provided in writing from participants. A written notice to the Branch organising the course, must be provided up to two weeks prior to the course start date to receive a refund, minus an administrative fee as set out by the Branch who have organised the course. In some cases, and at the discretion of the organising Branch of MI, the registration may be transferred to another course for up to one year from the date of the written notification.
No refunds will be given for cancellations received within two weeks prior to the start of the course. However in some cases, at the discretion of the organising Branch of MI, a registration may be transferred to another course, without penalty, for up to one year from the date of the written notification. After one year, the registration is null and void and the participant must register again at full fee. A written request is also required for a substitute to attend.
